This emerald-colored lake raised us.
Two little brothers running through the high vines with a kite, dirty with dirt and happy laughter, as light as that toy that swiftly flew across the vast sky and at times crossed the sun. Then we grew up, but not enough to want to leave this place of wind, light and water, too intense to forget and so arduous to tame, but inevitably ours. That is why we remain here, resilient and proud, looking at the lake and caressing this land that we love with all our hearts and that reciprocates us with this infinite and daily beauty.

The Winery
Terre Garcia was born
from a choice.
The choice to (r)esist.
In 2019, Calogero left university and decided to return to Poggioreale, where he was born and raised. In that inland Sicily, warmed by the sun and dominated by the wind, he chose to follow the family tradition, dedicating himself to viticulture on the same land cultivated by his family since the mid-1900s. TerreGarcia was born, a tribute to that district—Garcia, precisely—and to its history, bringing that territory onto the label.
Identity
Peasant life.
Genuinely.
The art of viticulture has always been part of our lives, and we have always lived it with respect and gratitude. From a genuine, artisanal, peasant approach comes a wine that deeply and sensitively tells the story of the land where it was born and of those who made it—a wine of listening and careful gestures. We spend many hours among the vineyards; it is our way of taking care of that piece of land and elevating it to liquid substance through winemaking.
Biodiversity
Organic
The vineyard is not alone.
Fruit trees, seasonal vegetable gardens, medicinal herbs, and grains grow all around it. We practice organic viticulture out of desire and an innate vocation for natural harmony. After all, this is the place that hosts us every day; could we ever do otherwise? Discover the wines born from this land: Kalatalì and Contravènto.
Territory
Western Sicily.
Restless hinterland.
Towards the west, where the Sicilian island narrows, halfway between the north and south coasts. Between Mount Cautalì and Rocca d'Entella, where the Elymians settled and founded the city of Entella, where the balatino gypsum of Messinian origin glitters in the sun. On those hills, softened by the wind and consecrated to viticulture for centuries, we find ourselves taking the course of history by the hand and preserving it for those who will come after.
